The Southeast Regional Training Center (SERTC) is recognized as a U.S. Olympic Regional Training Center site.

With this designation, the Club sponsors resident athletes to live and train in the Blacksburg, VA area under the Club’s outstanding coaching staff: Tony Robie, Frank Molinaro, Jared Frayer, and Ty Walz.

The SERTC practices take place in the the Virginia Tech Wrestling Room in Blacksburg, VA.

The SERTC provides training and competition opportunities for Blacksburg, VA area collegiate-level wrestlers who are qualified to participate in the Regional Training Center practices with the resident athletes.

Scholastic-level wrestlers also have the opportunity to train and compete with the SERTC. These sessions range from a youth rec program for beginning wrestlers to hard training sessions for experienced junior and senior high school wrestlers.

Any high-school wrestler who lives within 250 miles of Blacksburg, VA and Virginia Tech University and who finished in the Top 6 in the state Folkstyle tournament or in the Top 4 in the state Freestyle or Greco competitions is eligible to join.

All participants must have a current USA Wrestling card.
